His work is excellent, he always finishes by the estimated date and on or under the estimated cost. For example, he stripped my old kitchen to the 2×4’s and completed the work in three weeks. I have known Randy Klein for over 10 years and during that time we have used his contracting firm twice, once for a bathroom addition in our cottage and most recently to complete a major renovation for my business. When we planned to renovate our basement we had heard horror stories about jobs that seemed to have taken forever to complete, inferior quality of work, estimates that were far below the actual costs etc. We called on several contractors for estimates. Although all of the contractors were very pleasant and their prices were comparable, Taylored Home Improvement took considerable time to explain why some of the changes we wanted would not be cost effective and offered us some creative alternatives. He went over the estimate in detail and gave us a set time line for when tasks would be completed. Not only did he stick to the timeline, he came in at exactly the price he had quoted us. My husband Brian and I first met RANDY KLEIN, owner and operator of TAYLORED HOME IMPROVEMENT LTD., in 2000 as we were interested in putting offices in part of our unfinished basement. Randy’s creativity, initiative and superb workmanship were evident soon on in the process. He had scheduled all the different trades so well that there were no holdups as one work crew flowed perfectly into the next. The workers Randy used were so hardworking, polite and considerate, it was actually a pleasure seeing them every day.
